For this year, the 2020 Subaru WRX STI maintains the current fourth gen configuration with few changes available since its facelift in 2018. For the North American market many standard accessories are offered to keep it fresh before a possible refresh in 2021. Prices for the basic Subaru STI start at $ 36,995 and for the Limited model it starts at $ 41,695.
The STI maintains the same 2.5-liter Turbo 4-cylinder Boxer engine that generates an impressive 310 HP and 290 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Standard drive technologies include Active Torque Vectoring and Multi-Mode Vehicle Dynamics Control. All this power makes the Subie jump from 0 to 60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).
On the outside, it comes with many standard accessories such as:
- keyless entry with push button start
- 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels in a new dark gray with machine finish
- glass sunroof
- LED headlights steering-sensitive headlamps (high and low) with height adjustment controls
- redesigned engine compartment cooling ducts in the front bumper.
Inside, the basic Subaru STI has red and black leather Ultrasuede upholstered seats with red stitching, while the Limited model has RECARO bucket seats. The pedal covers are made of aluminum alloy and the carpeted floor mats are embroidered with the STI logo. In the instrument panel we have the 7-inch STARLINK Multimedia Plus system and for the Limited model you can add some Harman/Kardon speakers, blind spot detection with lane change assistance and rear cross traffic alert.
